The general structure of this guide was first cloned from the OER by Discipline Guide: University of Manitoba, edited by the University of Manitoba with contributors Janice Winkler, Nicole Askin, Ashley Huot, Asako Yoshida, Katrin Nielsdottir, and Kyle Feenstra under a CC BY 4.0 Licence via Campus Manitoba PressbooksEDU Network. The UManitoba Guide was based on similar guides created by McMaster University, created by Joanne Kehoe and Olga Perkovic, and the University of Ottawa, created by Mélanie Brunet. Both of these guides were adapted from the OER by Discipline Directory by BCcampus Open Education under a CC BY 4.0 Licence. Some additional content from these guides and the updated University of Ottawa guide (version 2.0) by Mélanie Brunet and Catherine Lachaîne was also incorporated into the UCalgary guide.
