Beispiele:
Wo steht der Laptop? (der Schreibtisch)   Der Laptop steht auf dem Schreibtisch.
Wo ist das Bett? (die Nachttische)   Das Bett ist zwischen den Nachttischen.

All nouns (except for some proper names) add -n in the dative plural, unless their plural ends in -s, for example:
die Freunde (Nom. pl.) → mit meinen Freunden (Dat. pl.)
die Kinder (Nom. pl.) → mit den Kindern (Dat. pl.)
die Bücher (Nom. pl.) → zwischen den Büchern (Dat. pl.)
die Sessel (Nom. pl.) → unter den Sesseln (Dat. pl.)
