Chapter Overview
This chapter will introduce the common terms used in the physical examination of animals, including an overview of the steps taken in each exam that occurs in the clinic. Once a physical exam is completed, other testing like laboratory and diagnostics will occur to obtain a diagnosis and/or plan for each patient. These terms will be introduced along with a general overview of what occurs during these tests. Common disease terms will also be discussed.
