16. Pickup Notification and Pickup Process

You receive an email notification a few days later that your request is ready. This is great because  there is no set timeline for how long it will be before the library can have requests ready, so you are delighted that it didn’t take very long.

You head to the TFDL the next day. When you enter the building, your items are on the hold shelves behind the services desk, filed alphabetically by your last As you are heading out, a staff member lets you know that, as a student, you can request up to 10 items at a time for contactless pickup and that you always have one week to pick-up your items after receiving an email notification.

Success! You have borrowed resources and collected them through contactless pickup for the first time. You head out the doors and towards home, excitedly clutching your borrowed resources: a book for the research assignment, and a video game to play at home, after you are finished working.
