9. Using Electronic Resources from Home

After a little bit of rest and some dinner, you sit down at your bedroom desk and begin working on your assignment. It only takes you a few minutes to realize that despite the number of sources you collected, you still could use a few more to bolster your argument.

With a groan you once again turn to the library website homepage [opens link in new tab] to browse the library catalogue. You are really not looking forward to making the trek back to campus to access more sources.

Just as you are considering giving up, you realize that the website allows students to access digital sources off campus. You don’t have to go back…score!

You select an online journal article, navigate to the “View It” section on the item’s record, click on the provided link, and log in with your IT username and password. A sigh of relief settles you into your chair as you access the journal article. Now all that’s left is to get researching and writing!
