18. Library Terminal Printing
You go to the express terminal on the first floor of the TFDL, and log on to the computer using your UCID and password. You visit the Printing FAQ’s section [link opens in new tab] on the library website, and start reading the FAQ on printing from library computers [link opens in new tab].
The instructions tell you to open the file you want to print, and select print. When the print dialog box pops up, you should send your print job to the print queue called STUDENT on ITCTSEQITRAC01. You can also make any changes in the dialog box, like whether you want it single sided or double sided, colour, or if you have a page range you want to print.
You select your options, send your print job to the queue, and log out of the computer terminal.
You find a printer on the 2nd floor. You follow the instructions, and you swipe your Unicard. Uh oh! Your Unicard is low on funds and it won’t let you print!
You start reading the library’s FAQ page on adding money to your Unicard [link opens in new tab], and see that you can either add cash at a kiosk located at the TFDL, the Macewan Student Centre outside the bookstore, or the Health Sciences Building near pureEATery. You can also add money online with a credit card.
