13. TFDL Workrooms Part 2
You are on your way upstairs when you run into your friend who you haven’t seen in ages! You had no idea they were coming to UofC too! You spend about 10 minutes chatting and catching up before you realize you should get to your room booking and you haven’t texted your group mates yet.
You get to the workroom you booked for 4:30pm, and your group mates arrive soon after. You all get down to work and get your group project done and submitted to D2L in about an hour.
“Wow, great work team,” you say. “Nice that we have that off our plate. Now I have to get some studying done for my midterm…”
“Thanks and good luck – I’m off to get a bite to eat and take a nap,” says one of your group mates, as they both head out.
You pull out your computer, head to the booking site, log in with his UCID…and manage to snag the Treadmill workstation on the first floor [opens link in new tab] in 15 minutes. You spend an hour studying, and getting some exercise at the same time. You head home, eat a nice dinner, and get a good night’s sleep thanks to all that walking/treading. And your work pays off – you get an A on your group project and midterm!
