3. Research Steps

There are different ways to break down the research process, here is one example:

The process follows similar steps whether you’re an undergraduate or graduate student, or a professor!

Did you know 84% of students found that getting started on their assignment was the hardest part? The Learn the Library [opens link in new tab] research guide helps you with that process.

The ‘one search box’ on the Library portal could be your starting point of research. This is where you can search for your topic of research based on keywords. You may click on Advanced search for combining keywords to search. Results are fetched searching all the databases the library has subscribed. You may filter the results based on types of resources, articles, books, conference proceedings, thesis, year of publication etc.
