Resources on this page
You will find resources related to the following topics:
- Identifying the technological needs of others
- Continuing your own digital learning journey
Part of your job might involve helping others identify their technological needs. Or, you may just be interested in further developing your own skills.
This book contains many resources that can be used for your own development or to help others develop their skills.
To wrap up, here are two good starting points for your own journey or to help others:
Northstar Digital Literacy Assessments
These free assessments can be used by you or your clients to identify digital strengths and weaknesses.
GCF Tutorials and Quizzes
Ask your clients to try these quizzes and tutorials to help them develop their digital skills. There are also lessons on how to write appropriate business emails and other skills for the workplace.
You may also wish to contact the Immigrant Services Society (ISS) of BC for more information about their Digital Skills Framework for newcomers.
