Keys to the Foliose Lichens of Alberta
Note that these keys neglect squamulose genera at present. More work is needed to be certain of these species’ identity. Excluded genera that are largely or entirely areolate to squamulose include Buellia, Dermatocarpon, Endocarpon, Fulgensia, Fuscopannaria, Glypholecia, Gypsoplaca, Hypocenomyce, Massalongia, Myriospora, Pannaria, Parmeliella, Phaeorrhiza, Placidium, Protopannaria, Psora, Psoroma and Romjularia.
Genera with asterisks occur in multiple keys.
