| Field Characters | Fruticose, club-like chlorolichen. Primary squamules small, typically persisent. Podetia variable, from greenish-grey to brown, unbranched to branched 1-3 times, uncupped and abundantly apotheciate (so-called fertile morph) or cupped. Cups perforated like a doily, often with delicate marginal proliferations, pycnidia, and small apothecia. Lacking soredia, cortex intact and smooth, varying in the presence of secondary squamules. | |
