| Field Characters | Medium sized bipartite cyanolichen. Photobiont Nostoc, non-stratified. Thalli composed of thin, rounded lobes generally greater than 3 mm diameter, olive black to brown, appressed to the substrate but sparsely attached. Lacking cellular cortices. Lobes pustulate or blistered throughout, with isidia concentrated on pustule surface. No tomentum or soredia. Lower surface smooth, black. Apothecia rare. |
